"A portrait of my children once a week, every week in 2013"

Ruby::  Like a balloon angel on Christmas morning
Jenson::  An afternoon of swimming and water fun.
Mila::  All she wanted for Christmas was "A weenie baby". She was not dissappointed, with quite the handful of them.  She even proclaimed "YES!" as she opened one of them.

I did not intentionally pick out shots from Christmas Day, but as it happened the portraits that I favoured all turned out to have been taken on Christmas.  I'm quite pleased with myself for completing this project.  From quite little moments, to big milestones, this project will come to mean more as time passes.

Thank you Jodi for the creative inspiration and the challenge.  I will definitely be joining in again next year.

For the last time in 2013, I am joining Jodi for the 52 project.

All of my project 52 for 2013 can be seen here.

"A portrait of my children once a week, every week in 2013"

Ruby::  With her Prep teacher.  Mrs Black made our year!  Thank You, Thank You Chelsea xo
Jenson:: He had to have a toothpick, to be like his Deda
Mila:: She let me braid her hair.  Only because I let her finish the bowl of melted chocolate.

As always, joining Jodi for the 52 project.

"A portrait of my children once a week, every week in 2013"

Ruby::   Ruby now comes home from school relaxed and happy.  A vast difference from the beginning of the year, when the daily demands took a toll on her physically and emotionally.
Jenson::  His last ever day of pre-kinder.  Next year he's off to "big kinder"
Mila::  Bubbles of sleepytime drool in the car.

Joining , as always, with Jodi for the 52 Project

"A portrait of my children once a week, every week in 2013"

Ruby::  Writing Christmas cards for her classmates and special friends at school.  I was most impressed as she wrote personal messages to each of them.
Jenson::  In his assumed Lego stance.  Left leg under, right leg up, chin on knee.
Mila::  Finding a way to help herself to the ice in the freezer.  And yes, she had dressed herself.

Joining Jodi for the 52 project.

"A portrait of my children once a week, every week in 2013"

Ruby::  One of these things is not like the other.  I'm not sure if she's being serious here, or is just bored.
Jenson::  It was his turn to put the star on the Christmas tree this year.
Mila::  We love an eatery that offers a side of colouring.
